I am sure watermelon is one of the favorite summer fruits for many people. Watermelon is so good for detoxifying and cooling your body as well as regulating your digestive system. It’s worth taking a little extra step to create this pretty salad when you have company. For the salad In the picture, I also added a small yellow tomato for extra color.
1/4 watermelon, seeded and diced or scooped using a melon baller
10 strawberries, quartered
1/4 onion (small), chopped
5-7 mint leaves, cut into chiffonade
1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- In a bowl, place watermelon, strawberries, onion and mint.
- Add olive oil and vinegar. Sprinkle some salt and mix.
- Infuse love and serve!
