Chocolate Quinoa Porridge

Here is a healthy breakfast for chocolate lovers! It’s very important to start your day with a protein-rich breakfast if you need to release some weight or fat, and the quinoa contains a good amount of protein! I used only 2 teaspoons of coconut sugar to sweeten the porridge, which was just enough for me, but if you like it sweeter, please adjust the amount of sugar. I used coconut sugar, but you can also use zero-calorie natural sweetener, such as erythritol, xylitol or stevia. Please use your favorite toppings. I used cinnamon, coconut flakes, walnuts and raspberries.

1/2 cup quinoa
1 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut or almond milk in carton
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp natural sugar, such as coconut sugar, erythritol, or xylitol
Toppings of your choice (I used cinnamon, walnuts, coconut flakes, and raspberries)

  1. Place quinoa, coconut milk, cocoa powder and sugar in a sauce pan and mix well.
  2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook for about 15 minutes until the milk is absorbed.
  3. Divide the porridge into two dishes and add your favorite toppings.
  4. Infuse love and serve!
